Reseiclo Training

Reseiclo Training is an alternative day centre in a workplace environment for adults with:

  • Learning disabilities
  • Mental health
  • Autistic spectrum disorder
  • All forms of dementia

We teach our Trainees basic woodworking skills in a fully operational woodworking workshop, which is shared with Reseiclo Community Wood Recycling. We make a variety of different things out of reclaimed wood, anything from a chopping board to fences, gates, sheds, and all things in between. Trainees are involved in nearly every product we make and we regularly post updates on Facebook about what we are up to.

Reseiclo Training is a needs-led service. We understand the strengths and skills of individuals and tailor their experience to them. Trainees may spend time sanding or painting, assist a workshop volunteer (Trainer) in drilling holes or fixing screws, or even cutting wood on the miter saw, which is always under supervision. At times we may take Trainees with us to sites to install larger products such as sheds or pergolas. We have an endless supply of jobs so there will always be an activity to suit each individual.
